This afternoon, Roethlisberger and his family boarded a flight to New York and then overseas to Switzerland.
The name Roethlisberger is part Swiss and part German. Ben and his dad Ken, step-mom Brenda and little sister Carlee are all making the trip.
They will be there for one week.... Roethlisberger will be a busy guy the next seven days. They will touchdown in Zürich on Saturday. From Zürich, they'll move onto Luzern for sightseeing. On Sunday, Ben and his family will be in Bern to watch the Bern Grizzlies take on the Bienna Jets.
